Not always. Waterproofing is recommended for delicate leathers like suede or nubuck. However, it's unnecessary—or even inadvisable—on patent or pre-treated leathers. So remember to check the material before applying any product.

Regular maintenance is important, but there's no need to overdo it. Generally, conditioning every 4 to 6 weeks is sufficient, depending on how often you wear them. Avoid excessive use of products, which can eventually damage the leather. After exposure to rain, simply allow them to dry completely before brushing or conditioning them if necessary.

Wipe with a soft cloth, allow to dry at room temperature, then nourish with a suitable wax.

Use a Kleman suede eraser to remove the stain, then gently brush with our crepe brush to restore the leather's texture. These accessories are designed to clean effectively without damaging the material.
