From leather selection to final assembly, every step of the manufacturing process is carried out with precision to ensure long-lasting comfort, strength, and reliability. This local production stands as a guarantee of quality and a strong commitment to more responsible and sustainable fashion.

European leathers selected for durability

KLEMAN derbies are crafted from carefully selected European leathers, chosen for their quality, resistance, and safety. Full-grain leather, grained leather, nubuck, suede, or vegetable-tanned leather: each material is selected to meet specific uses while supporting a long-term durability approach. Available in timeless colours such as black, cognac, or brown, these leathers develop a natural patina over time, enhancing the authentic character of each pair.

Lug soles: comfort, grip, and long-lasting performance

A signature of the brand, KLEMAN derbies are fitted with EDITO Grip or NEW EDITO Grip lug soles, made from natural or partially recycled rubber. These soles provide excellent grip, effective shock absorption, and high resistance to abrasion. Rooted in KLEMAN’s professional heritage, they ensure stability and everyday comfort, even on demanding surfaces.

The PADROR, originally created in the 1990s for French railway workers, embodies KLEMAN’s iconic workwear derby, instantly recognisable by its lug sole and robust construction.
With its rounded lines, the FRODAN offers a more retro and functional aesthetic and stands out as a signature golf derby within the collection.
Finally, the MAJOR delivers a more refined interpretation of the workwear derby, while maintaining KLEMAN’s high standards of comfort, durability, and resistance.
