All KLEMAN sandals are made in France, in our factory located in La Romagne, in the Maine-et-Loire region. This workshop has been producing footwear for more than 75 years, relying on proven manufacturing techniques and a consistent attention to quality.

From cutting the leather to final assembly, each pair is made on site, ensuring sandals that are reliable, well-built and suited to real-life use.

European Leather Chosen for Summer Wear

KLEMAN sandals are crafted from European leather selected for its durability and comfort. Depending on the model, the leather may be smooth, supple or more textured, but always designed to support the foot while remaining comfortable in warm conditions.

Over time, the leather develops a natural patina, reinforcing the character of the sandal without compromising fit or wearability.

Durable Soles with a Workwear Identity

KLEMAN sandals are fitted with rubber soles, either smooth or lugged depending on the model. These soles provide stability, grip and comfort, while reinforcing the workwear identity of the shoe.

On selected designs, the lug sole becomes a key visual element, making the sandal instantly recognisable as part of the KLEMAN universe.

Different Types of Sandals

The KLEMAN sandal collection explores several distinctive shapes.
Fisherman sandals, such as the BABORD, feature a closed-toe construction with leather straps for support and durability. Babies / salomé sandals, like the RADE, offer a more graphic silhouette with a central strap and buckle fastening, while keeping a solid base.
The range also includes cross-strap sandals, closed-toe sandals, clog-inspired sandals, and lug-sole sandals, all designed with the same focus on structure and long-lasting wear.
