HOW TO CARE FOR KLEMAN
SUEDE / CROÛTE VELOUR SHOES

Suede — also known as split leather / croûte velours — has a soft, textured surface and a supple feel. At KLEMAN, it comes in two versions:

– Classic suede, elegant but sensitive to dust,
– Plush suede (VP H2), denser and softer to the touch, requiring extra protection against moisture.

These materials reveal their full character on styles like the NOMADE V, MAJOR V CORD, and PADROR VV.

SPOT CLEAN

Spot-clean with a suede eraser to remove marks.

PROTECT

Protect with a suitable waterproofing spray.

KLEMAN’S PRACTICAL TIPS After rain? Let the shoes dry naturally, then brush gently. Flattened fibers? Hold the shoes briefly over gentle steam (never directly), then brush to restore volume.

THE 4 GOLDEN RULES OF KLEMAN SHOE CARE

1
Alternate your pairs

Avoid wearing the same shoes two days in a row — this gives the leather time to breathe.

2
Nourish the leather

Use the right care product (cream, milk, or polish) to maintain suppleness and shine.

3
Clean regularly

Wipe away dust and dirt with a soft cloth.

4
Protect from moisture

Apply a waterproofing spray regularly, especially in wet seasons or before traveling.
